Wij bezochten de Algemene Vergadering van Aandeelhouders van Acomo op 21 april 2023 en gaven de volgende verklaring af.
Teslin - Statement AVA 2023 Acomo
My name is Jan-Jaap Bongers of Teslin Capital Management and I represent Teslin Participaties. The fund is a shareholder of Acomo since 2005. We are one of the largest shareholders of Acomo.
We would like to thank the Directors of the company for their commitment to Acomo and the hard work that has resulted in the current excellent position of the company.
The management team has indicated it is currently working on the formulation of the long-term strategy for the company. We would like to use this opportunity to ask the company to provide more transparency to the capital markets by providing investors a strategic update which includes clear mid-to-long-term strategic and financial targets that the company would periodically report on.
In addition, we think this strategic update should be accompanied by a more proactive “investor relation” policy that aims to attract and educate new investors about the investment opportunity that is presented by Acomo. Such an active investor relations policy could improve the valuation of Acomo’s stock while enhancing liquidity. This would – amongst others – support Acomo in the execution of its buy-and-build acquisition strategy, which has been an important value driver for Acomo in the past.
As a long-term oriented and active investor we ask the Board to show tangible progress on these elements in the remainder of this year.
