This is the privacy statement of TESLIN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT BV, located in Maarsbergen on the Woudenbergseweg 11, 3953 ME (hereinafter: Teslin), www.teslin.nl
This privacy statement applies to all privacy sensitive information or personal details you share with us, for instance by means of a contact form. We value our relations’ privacy and we exercise great care in treating and protecting personal details. We process data in accordance with the provisions of the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (hereinafter: AVG).
Teslin is the controller as meant by the AVG with regard to processing your personal details. This means that Teslin alone determines which personals details will be processed, for which purpose and by which means. We are responsible for a proper and careful processing of your personal data in accordance with the AVG. In this privacy statement we explain what personal data we process and for which purposes we use it.
Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
- Last name and initials
- Phone number
- Email and home address
- Company name
- IP address of a visitor of our website
- Other data you share with us regarding registration to one of our funds
Purposes and legal foundations processing of personal data
By agreeing with this privacy statement, you explicitly allow us (as meant by Article 6(1)(a) of the AVG) to process your personal data for the hereinafter mentioned purposes. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. In case you do not share certain personal data with us, we may not be able to provide you with all the services we offer.
In case you have not explicitly consented to processing your personal data, or in case you have withdrawn this consent, the principles of Articles 6(1)(b), (c) and or (f) of the AVG could apply to the processing of your personal data. In that case, processing your personal data can occur/happen without your consent, provided that this is necessary to perform a contract which you are party to, or will become party to, or if it is necessary to pursue Teslin’s legitimate interests. Additionally, we can be legally obliged to process your personal data.
We process your personal details for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter and/or invitations to meetings or gatherings
- To call or email you if necessary to provide our services
- To inform you on changes to our services and products
We do not keep your personal data for longer than necessary to achieve the purpose for which your personal data is gathered.
Provision to third parties
We can share your personal data with third parties if this is compatible with the above-mentioned purposes. Provision to third parties could be necessary to perform the contract concluded between you and Teslin, necessary to pursue a legitimate interest of Teslin, or necessary to fulfil Teslin’s possible legal obligations. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process data on our behalf to ensure the same level of protection and confidentiality of your personal data. We remain responsible for these processing operations. Besides the previous situations we provide your personal data to third parties solely with your permission.
We can use your personal data for commercial purposes, for instance to further inform you about our services. In that event we will use the email address or phone number you have shared with us. If you do not wish to receive information on relevant products or services, you can indicate this simply by clicking on “unsubscribe” in the email you have received.
We will use your personal data for market research and for the optimisation of our services. Your personal data will be anonymised for this purpose and will not be traceable to you.
Your personal data will be not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes, unless you have explicitly consented to this.
A cookie is a small text file that will be saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you access the website for the first time. You can unsubscribe for these cookies by setting up your internet browser in such a way that it no longer allows for cookies. Besides, in the settings of your browser you can delete all previously saved information.

- Google Analytics: cookies from the American company Google are put on this website as a part of the Analytics service. Teslin uses this service to gather information on the way this website is used and to measure the quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics in the way the Data Protection Authority prescribed it to fall within the scope of the exception as provided for in the Cookie Law, so we do not need to ask for your prior consent to use Google Analytics.
- Other tracking cookies intended for marketing purposes are: Google Adworks, LinkedIn, Google Doubleclick.
You have the right to access, rectification or erase your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw your consent to process personal data or to object to it. You have the right to data portability in case we possess digital personal details that we either process with your consent, or process to perform a contract you are party to.
That means you can submit a request with us to send the digital personal data that we keep of you in a readable computer file to you or another, by you mentioned, organisation.
To ensure that a request to access was made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity card. Black out your passport picture, MRZ (machine readable zone, the numbers on the bottom of the card), passport number and your citizen service number to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, at least within four weeks, to your request.
We would also like to inform you that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority.
